Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween. This is a mask that Brett bought for me on his visit to Italy. I thought it would be appropriate to wear it today. Halloween here was actually postponed. There was a threat of rain so the commander has postponed Halloween until Thursday. Pretty smart since the kids have no school on Friday. The Howie kids have no school on Friday either because...WE GET OUR STUFF!!!!!!! I am actually amazed at the mixed feelings I am having about getting all of our things. I have lived a very simple life with very few things. Yes, there are some things that I do miss, like a good knife in my kitchen, or some warmer clothes. But, all in all, we have survived and survived nicely. I will try to let you all know on Saturday how I am feeling about the arrival of our things...that is, if I can find the computer under all of the boxes!!
